(Matricaria recutica) Also known as blue chamomile. The colour of the oil is deep blue, turning green then brown with age and exposure to light. The odour is sweet, herbaceous, apple-like with a tobacco-like herbal dry-out. Chamomile is a mild, soothing oil popular in massage blends and herbal preparations. Aromatherapy benefits: relaxing, soothing. Blends well with Angelica, Benzoin, Bergamot, Geranium, Jasmine, Lavender, Lemon, Neroli, Patchouli, Rose, Ylang Ylang.
